IMPORTANT TO KNOW

General information
  • All our products are handmade, one by one, and therefore they can not always be exactly identical.
  • Exact PMS colour can not be achieved because of the feature of the melamine.
  • Changes in colour can occur because of the lacquer.
  • We can laminate a label on the back side of the tray to the following prices:
    • Pre cut labels delivered from you to us:
      3 SEK/label.
    • Digital original sent from you to us from which we make a label: Black/White
      5 SEK/label, Coloured 10 SEK/label.
    • If you like to have different labels to different originals please attach the labels to each original with paperclip – please avoid tape.
    • To get the label fully centralized, a full size back side with printed label on is recommended.
  • If any delivery damages should arise, the customer should report this to the transportation company that has delivered the goods.
  • Your order must always contain the following: Ordering Company, Contact person, Address, Phone number, Size of the tray, Shape of the tray, Number of trays. Order form can be downloaded here: Download order form.
  • Minimum quantity: It is okay to order only one tray but the time for delivery could be longer when ordering less than 50 trays of each size.
Delivery time
  • Our time for delivery is approximately three weeks.
  • At peak seasons it is a bit longer.
  • The more sizes you order, the longer the delivery time.
  • If ordering more than 50 trays of each size the delivery time is shorter.
Trays
  • The trays have a melamine based surface which is sustainable against heat and alcohol.
  • The trays are sustainable against dishwashing.
  • Both paper and fabric can be used on birch or white decor, as a standard white decor is used on both the front side as well as the back side.
  • For other options than birch and white decor, please contact us.
Coasters and cutting-boards
  • The coasters and cutting-boards have a melamine based surface which is sustainable against heat and alcohol.
  • All coasters and cutting-boards are made of HDF-material and can therefore not sustain dish washing.
  • The coasters can be ordered as round, square or triangular. If no selection is made on the order, square is used by default.
  • Cutting-boards 30x20 cm exist with or without a curve. Standard is with a curve.
  • You can choose the cutting-boards with or without a hole. Standard is with a hole.
 Material sent in
  • It is important to keep the material that you will send us clean from hair shafts, threads, dust, tape or anything else which you do not want to see on your tray.
  • All originals sent in, paper or fabric, should be cut in a square and centred for the tray to be good. The exact measures for each tray are available under ”Our product range”. Do not forget that approximately 2 cm of the trays are cut off, so do not write or paint anything in this margin.
  • Do not forget that everything on or inside the paper/fabric will be visible on the tray – even if it is on the back side.
  • If we have to re-cut the paper or fabric you will be charged 9 SEK for each paper/fabric. Minimum charge is 50 SEK.
  • If the customer wants to do a tray with its own material and after dissuasion from us, the customer will be charged full prize regardless of the outcome..
  • Material sent in will not be compensated.
  • We take no responsibility for the end result if the paper or fabric has not been approved or made by us.
Paper quality
  • For the best result, use matte none coated 60-gram paper.
  • The best printings are made with ink-jet printer.
  • If you want to use a colour laser printer we advise you to send us a sample first.
  • Never use a wax printer or a copying machine.
  • Never use coated paper (glossy).
  • When using ink-jet printer, remember that these are not UV-permanent which means that colour tinge could occur in the tray.
  • If you are not sure, send us a sample and we will test it.
  • If you paint, we recommend you will use water colour, felt or lead pen. The most important thing is not to use too much paint on the same spot.
Fabric quality
  • Use natural fabric for best result, for example: cotton, silk or linen.
  • Linen will have a darker tone when pressed into a tray – almost like it is wet.
  • Please use as thin fabric as possible for best quality.
  • The paint should be fixed, especially when hand printing.
  • When using different colours, try not to apply to much paint or in many layers.
  • If using silk fabric, please indicate the front side because it is very hard for us to see.
  • Remember that treads inside the fabric can show when pressed into a tray.
